VTCT Level 2 Infection Prevention

The aim of this unit is to develop knowledge and understanding of how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and how to work safely. You will develop knowledge on the importance of social responsibility, the causes, transmission and effects of COVID-19, and the methods used to control transmission such as correct hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). They will also gain an understanding of the safe working practices required in the beauty salon or nail bar to protect themselves and their clients.

On successful completion you will receive an accredited VTCT certificate.

This course will be delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment and theory assessment consisting of a multiple-choice test.

This course is aimed at beauty therapists and nail technicians, who need to understand the COVID-19 infection prevention methods required in order to maintain high standards of health and safety in the provision of services to clients.
